A growing midwestern small-town church with a heart for the world was ushered into a new season of outreach through a revitalizing brand refresh that led to deeper family involvement and community outreach.
As the leader of a 90-year-old Church experiencing revitalizing and growth, Pastor Andrew needed to communicate who Calvary Baptist was and what the church’s mission was to new and old members. He asked me to help him mobilize the church to join the mission of God in Leavenworth, Lansing, and beyond.
Over Zoom Calls we discussed the church's history, the makeup of its members, and their needs. I came alongside them to guide them through updating their outdated identity to reflect their growth and foundation in the Word of God. I developed a brand refresh that included a logo, letterhead, business cards, updated connect cards, and ministry brochures.
With the updated branding designs approved, I created a brochure to outline the church's new family discipleship roadmap and prepared the final designs for digital delivery.
Upon delivering the final designs, I taught the church office team best practices and showed them how to use their branding guideline to ensure consistent brand identity.
Veteran and new members, young and old alike, approved of the refreshed brand, and participation in children's ministry has grown as a result.
